​WorkLink Employment Society has over 40 years of success providing employment support services and training programs to residents and employers of the Westshore. The Society strives to promote awareness of the current world of work and the need for lifelong career development while recognizing the unique value both employees and employers bring to the changing business landscape.
​We are here to help our community stakeholders navigate this changing landscape to capture and define the emerging needs, expanding sectors, and latest labour market trends, and to assist employers and workers with the need to adapt quickly to the demands of a diverse and rapidly evolving economy. Since 2008, we have assisted over 20,000 unemployed community members to reach their employment, training, and educational goals. This was accomplished through a revenue model in which the Society received over $50 million in funding to support and deliver programs to community members and employers.
